I was playing lots of dark souls at the time, had played it some before, but it was my first time playing all the way through, the helmet is mostly just the gargoyle helm and the sword is based on the bastard sword in game.

Was looking at a lot of Andrew Wyeth’s art, his use of light/shadow is very interesting

always liked the foreshortening of the sword, its a bit messy, need to do more of that
